This fell right into the category of thoughtful SF hampered by somewhat stilted execution for me. (Lance Henriksen excepted, of course). Talky and cerebral in a good way; I felt like director and screenwriter Franklin Ritch had done his research.

Henriksen delivered a solid performance but I thought Tatum Matthews did such a good job as Cherry... but that's also a role where a little bit stilted works.

It makes a good pair with _Ex Machina_ as another talky, mostly quiet movie about AI.
