It really doesn’t feel like they had any plan for this far out when they started this show and they’re just making it up as they go now. The stakes feel nonexistent and character’s motivations inexplicable.

I remember when the show started out, the creators said they had ideas for a 5-season arc, but it sure doesn't feel like a well-thought-out, pre-planned story at this point.
