Seriously cold-blooded move by Marlo, taking out the security guard.
Watching Sherrod bolt from class and then try to fool Bubs with his "homework" is just heartbreaking.
And as much as I love Dennis (Cutty), it was a dick move to shame Randy for snitching to Miss Donnelly about who is behind the graffiti. If you missed it, he's filling out his new hire paperwork and sees Donnelly pressing Randy for info and gives him a little look, like, "Come on, are you really gonna snitch just to get out of a whuppin by your foster mom?" Then when Randy caves, he shakes his head sadly, no doubt thinking that Randy is just too soft.
I really feel sorry for Sydnor, getting stuck under Marimow and now working with freakin Herc and Dozerman. His story sort of gets overlooked, I think, but it is interesting to compare his career trajectory to all the other young bloods from S1. Dude has almost no support from above; you'd think Daniels would at least look out for him as much as he did for Greggs or Carver, but he leaves him shifting in the wind when the MCU (heh) goes to shit.
Also heartbreaking is watching Michael reject Dennis's attempts at reaching him. He's mistrustful of adults, but most especially those that act like they care and want to get close. Knowing the way things turn out for him later, it is even more depressing watching Cutty fail to gain Michael's trust.
One thing that always (and still) seems a little odd to me, that Omar would have no idea who Marlo is. Given how much he knew about West Baltimore and the Barksdales, one would think he'd similarly be informed on Marlo, considering the dude seems to own most of the Westside now.

On the other hand, snitches get stitches.
