I'm liking Tech Guy more and more for wanting to bail early on the date because she won't talk about things. He deserves better than Ava.

We find out that Ava's dad started a second family with a waitress at a chain restaurant.

Loved the way Simon and Mr. Johnson were immediately vibing with Jacob's rendition of Last Resort.

I didn't get the intro - "I didn't go to no fancy French school" said Mr Johnson after he fibbed about how he learned how to make the profiteroles tower.

Jacob's karaoke Last Resort was kinda scary.
