Actor Sarah Levy joins Kristen and Gail for the Quickfire Challenge, tasking the chefs to put their spin on Canada’s famous poutine. For the Elimination Challenge, Daniel Boulud joins the judges’ table as the chefs team up to create a maple-soaked brunch that pays homage to Sugar Shack traditions.

This early, I'm never quite sure who is who. I need 4 or 5 episodes to really get a feel for the Cheftestants.

But I do think this is a VERY strong field! All of the quickfires seemed great, and the only two real clunkers during elimination were both big execution errors.

I think we're in for a hell of a season!

I don't remember if we decided we can discuss LCK in these posts or not. I was shocked how attached I got to a contestant in LCK!

Man, Bailey didn't do well. First episode that risotto, then the tarts just fell apart. I'm not sure if it was nerves, or just cooking to time that were the problem. We loved Monteverde in Chicago, so were rooting for her to do better.
