I almost made it to watching this episode last night without being spoiled about Yusuf Khan's presence. Alas. Though I was so unused to seeing him at work, I didn't immediately recognize him. There was a strange clash of levity with his appearance in a show that had for the most part been pretty dang dark up to that point. It was a nice reprieve in the same manner it was fun when Matt showed up on She-Hulk (getting to see him with a little less weight on his shoulders).

Kamala/Ms. Marvel reference to keep us looking forward to the Young Avengers when MCU will get around to it.

Having an episode where we really get a standalone Murdoch episode was also enjoyable.

It was nice, but it was a little weird to have them make a very direct connection between the darkest, most violent Marvel show with the most "family-friendly" of the bunch.

I wonder if they aren't envisioning Murdoch becoming something of a mentor for the Young Avengers. Otherwise, drawing these two together, like you mentioned, is weird.

Hah... Murdoch as mentor would be like Stick with a sense of humor and more of a TMNT vibe with the unruly teens.
