Daredevil: Born Again: Art for Art’s Sake

An entitled trust fund baby does not respond well to critiques of his art practice.
Was reminded this week that the original vision for this series was pretty much a reboot except for Daredevil & Kingpin. All the scenes with Foggy/Karen/Bullseye/Punisher were added in reshoots. Drastically lowering my expectations for the remainder of this show.

Found this one to be a bit of a slog. Don't really care about Matt & Heather. Don't really care about Muse, glad that story is done

That explains why the Punisher scene seemed really out of place and that nothing else has really been done with him so far (I know there are still two episodes, but I'm not convinced that loose end will be tied up neatly before the end of the season).

I wanna chime in on this episode just to say, yes, she did indeed save herself. The fandom is getting all kinds of outrage clicks by saying it’s stupid and bad writing that she would say that (in the next episode) … exasperating to see.
As soon as she picked up the gun and shot Muse, my immediate impression was, those two were so into beating the crap out of each other and she was bleeding out and running out of patience. Like “enough already boys, let’s wrap this up.”
I mean it’s a major theme of this show that Matt enjoys the fighting way too much for his own good. I thought it was excellent writing.

I'm curious as to how Kingpin and his "thin dark line" will keep the psychologist from just having a presser and going, "No, no, I shot him and Daredevil was there."
I'm curious to see how this season ends, though, between Kingpin devolving back into his old self and Matt taking up his mantle again.
