This episode features hubris, shrieking, water taxis, tuk tuks, thousand year old eggs, pettiness, snooker, a traditional ceremony, gold leafing a buddha, reed grasshoppers (so cool!), a cat cafe ("I'm deathly scared of cats"), "lost" screwdrivers, the "Metal Castle", our first "If you aren't first, you're last", multiple Ferns, and three tumbling runs.

I am disappointed that we won't learn about any more things that Johnathan didn't do when he was in the New Kids.

Also, it appears that some of these people may have been single for a reason.

I found him surprisingly adult and well-adjusted for someone who had been in a teen boyband. I was sorry to see those two go.

At least the Nurse knows her faults, but her inability to tamp them down is going to K.O that team. He could not have been clearer that he was letting her call the shots that leg, and she was so busy pushing back she didn't notice.

The truck stop couple is currently the best candidate for my favorite team, but the olympic couple has potential, too.

Yeah, I was starting to warm to Jonathan and Harley too. But starting out two hours behind and with no significant bunching in this leg, it would have taken a major mistake by one of the other teams for them to catch up. The editors didn't even try very hard to make it look like it was close.

I'm starting to like the truck stop couple more too.

I loved them! They were adorable! They were also the sorbet to cleanse the palate of all of the other awkward "couples."
