Prot is a patient at a mental hospital who claims to be from a far away Planet. His psychiatrist tries to help him, only to begin to doubt his own explanations.

This is one of those low budget "oh it's sci-fi" talky movies like Last Man on Earth that has you arguing with yourself.

Ultimately you have to confess "it's just a movie" before you fall into the rabbit hole.

I've seen this on TV a couple of times and it's always a good Spacey (pun intended) ride.

All that's stuck with me is the slaughterhouse flashback scene. I felt like that had to be pulling directly from the book, but I'm not sure - has anyone read it?
