MeFi Horror Club: Berberian Sound Studio
May 15, 2015 5:41 PM - Subscribe

Toby Jones is hired as a sound engineer for Italian horror film "The Equestrian Vortex", or is something more sinister going on? It's Berberian Sound Studio, the next MeFi Horror Club film!

A passing familiarity with 70s Italian horror, or even a quick watch of Suspiria, may help with your enjoyment but it should work equally well going in cold.

Soundtrack by Broadcast.

You can find it on Netflix for free or rent it elsewhere.

Here are the MeFi Horror Club Guidelines.

I gotta watch this. Peter Strickland's latest movie The Duke of Burgundy was great.

Ah, this is an excellent excuse to finish watching this. I tried, but at the end of a multi-movie late-night marathon, and we didn't manage to stay awake, though it was very promising.

Also change is afoot,as I have created a Mefi Horror Club Fanfare Club - it seemed like the thing to do since I have the stick at the moment, so to speak.
