He missed an obvious joke in the Puff Daddy/P Diddy/Diddy/Puff Daddy "it's easy to change what you call someone" segment: Prince changed his name to something that wasn't even a word, and everybody just raised an eyebrow but rolled with it!

I dunno, Prince's "name" was a running joke for years for every two-bit comedian looking to fill time.

No one denied that the symbol was his name though. The jokes came from the fact that the symbol apparently couldn't be pronounced.

Well, I think really people didn't buy it after all, which is why the jokes. People still called him Prince.
