Grizzly decides to make friends en masse by trying to create a hit viral video. In the process he's educated in the harsh realities of the meme biz by jaded, internet-famous koala Nom Nom.

  • It's the first use of Grizz's nickname for Panda, Pan-Pan. Homestar Runner reference?
  • Because I happened to note it, the bears' food... Grizz: Roast beef with gravy, carrots, peas, mashed potatoes and onion rings? Panda: Toast with syrup and various fruit. Ice Bear: Salmon(?) topped with egg, asparagus and lemon wedges.
  • This is not the last we will see of Ice Bear's axe.
  • The name of the big video site in the Bearniverse is Everybody's Tube.
  • Grizz's main motivation is simple: befriend as many people as possible. He has no ulterior motive, he's just friendly.
  • Panda: "Grizz, you're being kind of a... dingle!" Ice Bear: (holds paws in front of mouth) Grizz: "Woah, no need to drag out the d-word!"
  • The bears' attempts to replicate various memes don't go too well. My favorite is Grizzly trying to play Maru. (But you know, a real bear trying that would be the most adorable thing possible.)
  • A website that Ice Bear clicks on, "Whoops I Fell!" is specific enough that one could easily imagine Cheezburger Network hosting it.
  • Meme-con's guest appearances besides Nom Nom are by Gluten-cat and Balancing Lizard. I don't know what Balancing Lizard refers to, but Gluten-Can refers to the inexplicable meme of cat breading.
  • This is the first appearance of Nom Nom.

Thanks to this episode, my almost-three year old's favorite phrase was "the bear's got moxie!" for at least a month.
