Regina's "I can't dance" line may be the one of the most nonsensical things OUaT has ever filmed. As if Cora wouldn't have made Regina learn how to dance like royalty, in her obsessive quest to snag her a king to marry? Whatever though, it was worth it just for the Yaz song. I love this stupid show.

"All magic comes with a price" is a dictum we've heard frequently within OuaT — admittedly, honored more in the breach than in the observance — but since it's been established that Emma's dark magic used to heal Robin did have a price, I'll be disappointed if it turns out we never see the Fury (or something else to collect a life in payment) again, and it was simply defeated through The Power of Friendship.

I'm liking the use of Rumplestiltskin as the voice in Emma's head tempting her to the dark side, just because that's such a great character, and otherwise Robert Carlyle wouldn't have much to do in these episodes. Also liked Belle and Hook bonding over the difficulty of being in love with the Dark One. Not sure yet how I feel about the Henry's crush storyline. We'll see where that goes.

I'm operating under the assumption that the five of them each lost 1/5 of their lives and that this will come back to bite Regina when she's being a super awesome, sometimes evil 80 year old.

Yeah, I had the same thought, that they each lost fifteen-ish years off their lives but I don't know how that works when they spent twenty-eight years frozen in time? Also, how does that take into account the extent to which Regina must have died inside from being compelled by courtesy to wear the ugliest fucking gem that has ever existed? Seriously, it's like if someone said "I have this ring pop but I think I'd like to make it BIGGER and MORE OBLONG and also a PENDANT and kind of YELLOWY-GREEN like a DISEASED POND!" and then they saw what they had created and said "Yes, it is PERFECT! Let us bestow it upon Regina wearing a lovely dress she magicked onto herself because the poor woman hasn't suffered enough for Christ's sake."

Disappointed that we haven't seen any Lily/Maleficent so far this season. Also, do we think something's going to be up with Guinevere? Is she going to be, like, Zelina in disguise or something? I'm actually finding King Arthur to be basically a dick so I'm hoping that eventually he turns on Regina to save his own power and Guinevere stabs him with Excalibur to save the day! And then becomes the Lady of Lake but also rules Camelot and she and Regina hang out just overthrowing patriarchies and wearing gowns and like eating chocolates or whatever and maybe occasionally hosting interventions about Emma's hair.
