Liv, Detective Babineaux and Ravi investigate the mysterious death of a peewee basketball coach. Liv, consumed with overzealous coach brains, gives Major a much needed pep talk. That chat at the beginning about not brushing your teeth too hard? That's a real conversation that gay guys in serodiscordant relationships have. (Or use to have, up until a few years ago, when PrEP came on the scene.)

I really liked the "you're so weird" line Major gave her in response to her pep talk.

Blaine's funeral home is called Shady Plots.

Dee-lightful.

Ravi continues to be the best by just slamming those glass bottles together on the ground. Liv is like, how are your gums? While Ravi is like, who cares if superzombie virus gets into my hand from a thousand cuts, BLAINE CANNOT HAVE IT.

And then Blaine somehow leaves instead of murdering everyone... Again.

Also that Tacoma coroner was so jealous, the verbal intellectual sparring with Ravi was delicious.

Starting to get sick of Liv's personality of the week. I prefer Realiv.

Babineaux continues to have a beautiful torso clad in jewel tones. His and Major's muscle tone make me wish they had a salmon ladder to work out on...

Yeah...I'd like to see less of this, too. It's come to feel a bit like a poor-man's Orphan Black effect. Or, at the very least, make it less central to an episode.

But given how we know zombies survive, when would they ever have their own personality? You have to eat another brain as soon as the craving kicks in after the previous one wear off, so you're basically jumping from one personality to the next. She's still herself in terms of memories and basic morals, and that might just have to be enough.

Oh yeah, I wanted to point that out when we saw in episode 2!

I was so jazzed to hear condom use discussed frankly in a show. This show just keeps on doing things to win me over. Minor the basset needs more screen time though ;)
