I'm kind of loving how awful Libby is being to Coral, it's a depiction of racism that I haven't seen on-screen a lot. The insidiousness. I'm not sure whether or not Libby would have felt as threatened by a young white girl nanny who had shown her up in front of Bill by having superior swaddling skills. But would she have lashed out so passive-aggressively? Doubtful, very doubtful. And yet she is completely oblivious to the possibility that she's being influenced by prejudice.

I'd read that Sarah Silverman had a part this season, didn't know she'd be Helen.

I was expecting some kind of old-timey Aristocrats routine from Silverman as a study participant. It'll be good to see her playing a more substantial role. But the Libby racism is so weird and horrible it's hard for me to watch. Like I spent season one thinking "why are you ignoring something which was a big deal at that time?" and now I almost want the writers to put it back in the box, although that would be infuriating. I mean, where do they go with this dramatically? A lesson is learned? Nobody hugs*, nobody learns?

I loved Coral's sly "woman of the world" retort.

* Kind of loving the way that nobody hugs.
