House of Cards: Chapter 47
March 25, 2016 7:27 AM - Season 4, Episode 8 - Subscribe

Frank and Claire are in agreement on Underwood/Underwood 2016, but how to sell this patently insane plan to the world? First step: get Cathy Durant on the ticket. Second step: not really.

On other fronts, Tom Yates gets closer to Claire; Hammerschmidt is looking around Frank's old neighborhood; Doug is showing signs of a conscience over moving Frank up the donor list; and Will Conway shows up at the Democratic National Convention because he's so very, very worried about ICO.

I've had to go back and read recaps to post in these since I've finished this season, and even after reading a few for this episode, nothing sticks out to me as noteworthy - it's pretty much just setting pieces up for the last half(ish) of the season.

Mainly, I really could've done without the return of Tom Yates - I don't find him interesting at all.

Agreed - Tom is soooooo boring. At least we're not having to sit through long voiceovers of his terrible writing anymore.

I kind of like Tom, but I get why someone else wouldn't.

Why was there an edgy montage of the data scientist dancing shirtless? Product placement for the headphones?

How did Hammerschmidt get Meechum's travel logs?
