Filmed in black and white, A Coffee in Berlin is a tragicomedy centered upon a fateful day that pushes an aimless college dropout (Tom Schilling) to stop wasting his time and finally engage with life.

What a terrible title! in German the title is, "Oh Boy" (and not, "Ach, Junge" but english, "Oh Boy") which is far far far far more suitable.

This was such a big hit and the cause of much furious envy - it was his graduation thesis from film school (I think I remember reading). Nonetheless it is an assured, humorous, honest story. Well told and totally worth the time.

Someone should be castigated roundly for the title change.
