This show is unexpectedly great, and really does a great job of playing with sitcom tropes.

The focus group episode reminded me that Claire is awesome, but also pointed out her character, as one of the few straight mans in the show, most of her scenes are reactions and not motivated by her own goals.

That was horribly elucidated but I hope what comes across is my desire to see the sharp-witted no-nonsense Claire get some depth.

Sadly, it's been cancelled, but the season does a good job telling a self-contained story.
