Donnie is the MVP.
Sara... wears her hair well.
Also, stop ragging on Krystal.

And, also: Ewwwwwwwwwwww.

Art: "What happens in the suburbs never ceases to surprise me."

This could be John Fawcett's motto.

And yes, ewww. Funny, I had just been thinking about Ira's hair, "wow, that's some widow's peak. I wonder if they'll give him a widow." And they did.

Is Kira the Kwizatch Haderach? She seems to be able to reach into/across her ancestors and feel what they're feeling.

Every week, I think "This is as funny as Donnie can be", and then they throw in a scene like the one with Krystal and I think the same thing again.

I dunno. This episode just didn't click for me. Too many plotlines, maybe? Maybe I'm having a hard time buying into some of the plots? Whatever it was, I had a real hard time sticking with this episode.

Quick, Donnie, think of a good disguise name!
Donnie: D-
Donnie: R...
Donnie: Ronnie ..

Donnie is a treasure. And good for Krystal for at least training for her conspiracy theory-chasing!

Even when it's not all clicking, OB is still one of the best things on TV right now... That said, that was wayyyyy too many plotlines for one episode, and the thing with Kira is a little too off for the generally science-y vibe. But, you know, curly hair, adorable lisp, precious little huffy sighs. Let's just run with it.

I loved the little byplay between Donnie and Krystal - Tatiana Maslany is so damn good at the clones (as we say every week) and Kristian Bruun is having so much fun as Donnie that when they get to play to those strengths it's just great to watch. I love that Krystal has gotten so far into the conspiracy by herself in such a short time - and on such utterly wrong detective work. She's doing far better than the Clone Club! All the actors in this mess dismiss her at their own peril.

Sarah's suspicion and paranoia is affecting everything around her, and her relationship with Fee is on the rocks, if not broken completely. I wish that meant a bit more for Jordan Gavaris than having to pout and sulk in every scene. Given that this season is playing up the desire for family so strongly, I feel like everything needs to slow down a little to help us feel Felix's hurt and betrayal (that is, how he feels betrayed, not any speculated future event).

Kristian Bruun

Woah.
All this time I have never known Donnie's name.

Sarah's suspicion and paranoia is affecting everything around her, and her relationship with Fee is on the rocks, if not broken completely.

Is it me, or is not only she being unreasonable (compared to ...) she's started doing her hair?

Does it seem like Fee's sister is doing a lot of coke for some reason?

There was speculation after last year's finale that it was Scott who shot Delphine. In that light it makes for an interesting choice to have him test Felix and Adele's DNA when Cosima is away and without showing him doing the actual testing.

It's just that in terms of the writing, you have characters that are in the middle of world class conspiracies and Felix sister shows up without the slightest "how did you find here" "how about a genetic test"? Totally sure the sister is evil evil evil. Giving it two episodes at the most.

Allison & Donnie will split from Clone Club & try Bright Born for real. That's my prediction.

All the actors in this mess dismiss her at their own peril.

But most of those actors are Tatiana Maslany!

Allison & Donnie will split from Clone Club & try Bright Born for real.

Even after Cosima tells them what's really going on? I feel certain she will either escape or be rescued (possibly by Krystal, wouldn't that be a hoot?)

There was speculation after last year's finale that it was Scott who shot Delphine.

OMG, that could relate to his line that Dr. Leekie never gave him a raise. It makes sense if he and Leekie had a previous (or deeper) relationship.

Tatiana, Tatiana, Tatiana...
How I wish I had known her when I lived in Regina! Unfortunately, I was about 25 years too early.

I got the impression Susan let her go so Cosima can talk to Sarah and the rest. In the last scene she mentions that it's up to them (clone club) now and that they are really close to getting access to the original. But I guess it could also mean Susan wants to trade Cosima for Kendall.

Warning: Do not watch the Ep. 6 sneak preview clip that OB released today if you are spoiler-averse.

(I'm currently rewatching the first episode and Evie doesn't have a scar on her cheek. It's probably just a continuity glitch rather than something of ~meaning~.)

Also on my rewatch, in the second episode, Beth cuts up a Brightborn logo-ed swipe card and flushes it when Mika is at her house.

I listen to the "Tatiana is everyone" podcast, and they also noticed the scar. I think it's not a continuity glitch, but that Beth has something to do with it. Episode 1 was a flashback to a couple of months ago and Beth came home bloody in episode 2 with the Brightborn swipe card.

Interesting. She also came home with her gun (which she handed it off to Mika). And that was a lot of blood, too, so I would assume that if Evie was involved in whatever happened there, she got off easy.

I assumed back then that it was a hotel key. Very interesting that it was Brightborn.

I'm also curious back then when Beth told Mika "I've ruined everything" (or something like that) if she was referring to the "civilian" shooting or to whatever she'd just done on that outing. I kind of assumed the latter, since it immediately preceded her suicide.

Wow will this be so tightly plotted that that last scene of Beth prior to her suicide will pull all the threads together? That would be amazing.
