Turns out Jessica wasn't as good at keeping a secret from Dana as she thought. Max makes it plain that Carrie has possibly irretrievably lost Max's trust. And a murder occurs but it seems to be for the wrong reason. Brody has decided to embrace his hero status.
I found Lynne's death unexpected thinking the show would draw the tension out for a at least a couple more episodes. And the hints that Latif Bin Walid is the terrorist using the Prince for cover and the Prince is nothing more than he seems put a totally different slant on the first two episodes.
The scene where Brody flashes back to his captors saying his country has abandoned him and his wife moved on are heartbreaking in their retroactive truth.
