Barbara and Lester! I didn't see that coming but am so pleased at their first interaction. (Haven't finished the episode yet.) I also don't know whether they're based on real people from the Masters and Johnson story and am conflicted as to the idea. I don't know if I'd like it better if they were invented or better if they're biographical.

I was hoping for a Barbara/Lester plot after last week's episode - I loved the S1 'Mrs. Scully gets her orgasm + Dr. Langham finds his boner' sex scene. A Lester/Barbara sex scene could be just as satisfying.

I haven't read the Masters & Johnson book yet still, but I'm assuming that Lester & Barbara are not strictly biographical, I figure they're writer-constructs like the Scullys were.
