Liv killed it as a DM.

The actual gameplaying was really fun and I want Clive to join the group with Vampire IT guy and the sketch artist so much. I wanted more of them playing D&D (my groups have often featured one person who is there to hang out with their slightly nerdier friends more than play so I also loved Peyton's contribution)

I'm not a huge fan of how much they're pushing the personas as these all encompassing things she takes where ever she goes and the dice rolling in real life was a little eye rolly, but overall I liked this episode a lot.

There were a couple of times during the game where I was just shouting "ROLL FOR IT!" But I'll let that slide.

I was a little disappointed that Peyton didn't get into the game. I would have liked to see her get really bloodthirsty in it and intimidate everyone; it fits with her character.

I'm fascinated by how they're moving into the consequences of "what happens when you treat brains like drugs." (And of course Blaine, the former drug dealer, would figure out how to escalate that one.) It hasn't been heavyhanded; it's been subtle. It's also done a great job of illustrating how "the difference between a cure and a poison is the dose." I do wonder what's going to happen to Donnie now.

I think this case is going to turn out to have a lot more repercussions on the overall plot than we expect, just like the dominiatrix one has.

I'm glad they're including the PD sketch artist and IT guy, they're fun characters.

Um, Katty Kupps sure disappeared abruptly. I thought they were going to develop her character as an extra front of pressure from the gov't side, but after Peyton walked in on her and Ravi she never showed up again.

I don't think Vivian is dead (we never actually saw her get on the chopper, did we?) and I think the assassination attempt on Baracus was staged to boost his approval in the mayoral race (although I don't think he knew about it).

Wow, I really thought that was Emily Bett Rickards as Shawna (the woman who came over to meet Major) but it wasn't, it was Sarah Jurgens.

Really glad to see Bozzio back. Jessica Harmon played that scene perfectly.

When Clive was talking about the Flash, and the camera slowly focused on the guy leaving the store, I was hoping it would be Grant Gustin. Alas, it was not.

The show has lots of ground to cover in the four remaining episodes.

Yeah, right now they take only one big trait from the "donor" and have it take over. I guess they can do some handwaving about why Liv would act like she's always DMing when presumably dude had other interests. But yeah, it's basically there for Liv to solve crimes and act funny, so...

Poor Don E. I kinda like him now. His sarcastic enthusiasm (?) is infectious.

Helicopter crash was weird and obviously suspicious, though I can't bring myself to care if the people in it are for real dead now or not.

Yeah I can't wait to see how they tie in all these things. I suspect the Zombie Survivalists will have a huge effect on the ending, possibly triggering D-Day, and probably be a bigger issue the next season, where Filmore-Graves will come out in public.

That assassination was totally staged by FG.

I love that the sketch artist guy has Liv as a dominatrix in his sketchbook. It's just the right kind of hilarity I expect from this show.

The game was pure gold.

I like Justin, but this show has Cartwright Curse, so don't get too attached.

Wasn't there a very similar mass murder in Veronica Mars?
