This was weird. I see what they were going for there, but... it just never gelled for me. I think they need a guest to spin off, like an oyster needs some grit to make a pearl.

Yeah... The only episode I didn't like. If you're going to completely rewrite canon, group dynamics and basic character traits don't improv it. That needs to be meticulously planned or else you end up with something like this.

Hopefully I'll forget this episode ever happened, and hopefully the cast will as well.
