Netflix's first Icelandic original series is an eerie drama set in an isolated town on the outskirts of an erupting subglacial volcano. It begins with the discovery of a mysterious ash-covered woman walking on the glacier. As more people emerge and their histories are revealed, the atmosphere descends into quiet horror with a near monochromatic backdrop of ice and ash-dusted Icelandic scenery. [more inside]
