I was waiting until yesterday to watch it, which meant that I learned the hard way that Facebook trending can and will spoil Drag Race for you if you accidentally open Facebook.

I didn't love this season, though I loved Bianca to pieces. My cat was much more interested in the finale than I was, which is rare. Also, did anyone else get the feeling Joslyn had told her fiance that they could get married after he was on Drag Race as a stalling tactic that failed?

The most important part of this season to me was Raja and Raven's Fashion Photo RuView, which everyone should watch, and I hope they keep up for future seasons.

Yeah, Joslyn did not look too thrilled to be getting married at that particular moment.

I was so happy for Bianca! I teared up a little, but I'm prone to crying when I'm happy. I also loved Adore and I hope she has great success in her career even without the win.

[SO NSFW] From the Bianca wayback files: further proof that being a (relative) household name does not mean you'll have a music video budget of more than $8.95.

This really just makes me love Bianca more.

AVClub's comments have been an interesting appendix to the show for the last few years, with suspiciously prescient spoilers to people who were at the live finale to tidbits like live show behind the scenes dish and who's done who in what porn.

Lady Bunny looks almost exactly the same after almost 20 years and she favorited a tweet of mine yesterday (gasp) but i don't know if that means I've never seen her in natural light to she's always looked like a drag queen if her 50s teens.

Speaking of music videos, have you guys seen Adore's (NSFW) DTF? Suprisingly addictive though I wish it used different lyrics for the "cherry candy yum yum."

I thought "DTF" was punching waaayyy below her weight, seeing as Adore can actually sing and all.

I'm honestly impressed by the consistent production value and musicality of DWV's work, though, having just stumbled across the cruel magic of Blurred Bynes. Who's bankrolling them?

That's why DTF is so well done though - she didn't cave to the pressure to really belt it out in every song, which especially for someone who has already clearly proven she can sing is less important than creating a good, catchy song with a suprisingly high quality and entrancing video.

Plus DTF is just the first single off her new whole album, Til Death Do Us Party, so I imagine there will be a few that showcase her voice as well.

She certainly did look surprised, which surprised me. I was under the assumption that EVERYTHING in the finale was staged until that moment, and was left wondering whether she was actually surprised or just a better actress than I had given her credit for.

I love this show a shameful amount, and the finale is always really anticlimactic. Fortunately I was somewhere where we at least go a live drag show beforehand, which was quite fun.

I actually found that I wasn't terribly invested in the outcome. Part of it was just regular burnout, part of it was the fact that for the last couple of seasons on Other Parts of the Internet people go absolutely apeshit bonkers in the worst way, and part of it was the fact that I had been doing Lumpy Drag Race most of the season and so help me if another Drag Race contestant sounds exactly like a cartoon character again I will just set myself on fire.

It was a really good season though, with a really talented group of queens. And I'm glad Bianca del Rio won, because, among other things, she seems like she is the one who would be best mentally prepared for all that entails, including the backlash.
