Everyone seems to try their best at the now annual panel game show celebrity-imitation event. Some do well (twice), some dodge bullets (you have one job, Derrick), some might have been better off with the fake-out roadkill maxi-challenge instead of what they ended up with. (#CreatureCouture)
RuPaul's Drag Race: New Wave Queens Season 8, Episode 4
DEBBIE HARRY!* --and Blondie bandmade Chris Stein, who more than proves his worth by calling out the Drag Race sin of a contestant wearing the same shoes for two competitive events-- are on hand for a New-Wave themed challenge: the queens must write lyrics for and perform an '80s-throwback song (backing track provided by you-know-who, also judging) in front of a live studio audience. Runway theme: neon. Kim Chi's makeup: cubist. Street meat: delicious. [more inside]
RuPaul's Drag Race: Bitch Perfect Season 8, Episode 2
First, a cha cha mini challenge featuring too little of the delicious AB Soto (previously on the Blue). Main challenge: a team lip-synch dance-off to an a cappella mashup of RuPaul's back catalogue. Then, a "red carpet looks" runway. Finally, a LSFYL to America's #1 Gay Anthem of the Past Century, and one queen fool makes the mistake of declaring "disco is not my genre." You can guess what happens.

Candis Cayne and Mathu Anderson show up to act horrified. The older and younger contestants snipe at one another. There are tugged heartstrings and sob stories as Ru takes the queens individually to "lunch" then (at the judging) holds up pictures of each of them as little boys. There is a four-way lip-sync. Ru sashays a queen. [more inside]

Brought to you by Sanrio. [more inside]
RuPaul's Drag Race: Prancing Queens Season 7, Episode 10
No, really, the queens have to pair off and (a) learn choreography to a mashup of old and new musical genres--like tango/vogue and Charleston/twerk--and then (b) perform their routines while in half-male/half-female drag. Oh, and also? They have to cover their faces in adhesive tape and record fake Real Housewives intros. The ante, she is ever upped.
RuPaul's Drag Race: Divine Inspiration Season 7, Episode 9
After the one-two punch of Snatch Game and Conjoined Queens, the hangover had to come eventually. Despite two seemingly can't-miss elements (Reading Is Fundamental and a John Waters-themed main challenge), the dread specter of another musical/acting "performance" and a catchall runway theme led to an all-over-the-place mess.
RuPaul's Drag Race: Conjoined Queens Season 7, Episode 8
In which a mini-challenge showcases the return of Latrice! Royale! as a prison guard and the maxi-challenge (including all this season's eliminated queens!) reveals that pretty much everyone is a good sport. (Pretty much.) LSFYL: Epic.
RuPaul's Drag Race: Snatch Game Season 7, Episode 7
No mini-challenge this week, just the much-anticipated maxi-challenge: Snatch Game! Max finally donned a colored wig as a "Disney" Sharon Needles, Pearl went really big as Mob Wives' Big Ang, Violet and Miss Fame fought over Donatella Versace, with Fame claiming the character while Violet went with Alyssa Edwards. Katya channeled a shady Suze Orman, while Jaidynn had visions as Raven Symone. Ginger Minj was Adele, and Kennedy took a real risk in playing Little Richard, the first male impersonation in the six seasons of Snatch Game.
RuPaul's Drag Race: Ru Hollywood Stories Season 7, Episode 6
The queens are tasked with telling the story of how Michelle Visage replaced Merle Ginsberg on the judging panel from each of their (Merle's, Michelle's, Ru's) perspectives. It is to the detriment of humanity that no one pulled out a "Ru-shomon" quip. [more inside]
RuPaul's Drag Race: The DESPY Awards Season 7, Episode 5
With the herd finally thinned enough that everyone's identifiable, the queens are tasked with putting together a fake awards show resulting in the most unexpected laugh line of the episode: "Courage." Kathy Griffin dispenses harsh but accurate comedy advice (though few listen), Isaac Mizrahi delights in judging, and Pearl & Ru have a bizarrely intense stare-off. Also: paper red-carpet dresses. Also also: chickens.
RuPaul's Drag Race: Spoof! Season 7, Episode 4
The queens assemble into three teams to write and record parody versions of RuPaul songs and shoot videos for said parodies. They are mostly passable. Ru gets cranky about a light dig at Drag U, the top three from last season are mimicked fairly effectively, and the wrong queen goes home.
