This episode's A plot was not a fave. It always surprises me in an unpleasant way when B99 goes there with graphic, gory violence. It seems so tonally off from the show's general demeanor, but it's happened at least a couple of times. Blech.

I did love the reveal of Rosa's Thanksgiving plans, though, and I'm always happy to see Kevin.

It was fun to see Scully and Hitchcock do some good detective work, even if it was pastry related.

I agree, the B plot was way better. Hitchcock telling Capt. Holt to "pick up the damn phone" was just perfect.

But I did enjoy seeing Josh Lyman, President Nero & Gemma all together.

'twas a joke¹, ActingTheGoat. On West Wing Smits was President Santos & Whitford was Josh, and on Sons of Anarchy Smits was Nero and Sagal was his girlfriend Gemma.

I saw the first few episodes of SOA, but I didn't stick with it. I didn't realize that Jimmy Smits was on there, sorry for stepping on your joke! Gemma sounded familiar, but I couldn't place it. Karen Peralta is obviously familiar, but for some reason I didn't realize that she was Katy Sagal. That's on me for not paying enough attention.

But I'm calling this one a draw because, President Matt Santos 2020!
