Felicity, stop embezzling. Angel investments aren't gifts, your investor is a co-owner.

You own a minimum 51% of Palmer tech, you're rich. (I would still like an explanation as to how you inherited the position of CEO, do you still own the company outright?)

I'd read the spoiler report about Billy Joel appearing on Arrow this week and I guess I was expecting, like, a cameo where he interacts with Oliver or something, not an appearance via stock concert footage. But, hey, whatever, it's great to see him on TV and his B-side "No Man's Land" was used for the stadium scenes in the background. It would've been an easy choice to use "Pressure" for those but they went with something more interesting.

I'm very close to declaring that Michael Emerson as Cayden James is one of Harold Finch's evil identities. Or possibly a Ben Linus alias since he's mad about his child.

Also, I'm sharing this because I know you all will appreciate it. My girlfriend had an Arrow-related piece of art commissioned for our anniversary earlier this month.

Embezzlement aside, Curtis's actions of performing untested and unauthorized human experiments (injecting John) position both founders for some serious criminal charges. Although it today's American that just probably means it will be a highly successful company.

I did appreciate Felicity's trench coat wardrobe this episode, especially the deep rose one.

Injecting people with chemicals is fine in comic book universes. It would be irresponsible to not inject Diggle with random chemicals. There's a 50% chance it will cause superpowers and a 50% chance it will cure any problem or disease.

You're right, although I think the math is slightly off. I think there's something like a 15% chance it will drive the person mad enough to become a super villain, too.

Maybe this is what happened over on Earth-X.

Already feeling that Michael Emerson may be a little wasted on this show. He needs more scenes to establish his character! Also what was with the weird Thomas Szasz psychoanalyst reference? Given the name I'm immediately thinking Victor Zsasz. But Szasz is a real person. Kind of a high brow academic reference for low-rent-Batman.

The Billy Joel appearance was pretty lame. Imagine if he were the villain, a-la Liberace-as-Chandell. Really more of an Elton John part though.
