This podcast was a great summary of REDMAP. The referenced book Ratfucked is terrific. If you don't have time to read it, the review in the New Yorker can give you a summary of what's in it.

Unfortunately the Supreme Court just punted on the two cases about partisan gerrymandering they had heard this year. It's a huge disappointment. The way looks clear for more egregious partisan gerrymandering in 2020.
