Chapo Trap House: Episode 228 - Supreme Clientele feat. Ashley Feinberg (7/15/18)
July 15, 2018 4:21 PM - Subscribe

Genius humanitarian and humble dreamer Elon Musk* calls in to talk about rescuing all those kids trapped in a cave and what else he plans to do to humanity. Then they're joined by Ashley Feinberg to talk about the Trump family standing techniques and Don Jr's life as a divorced guy on Instagram. Then we dive into the spate of Op-Eds on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and what a great guy, dad he is.

*James Adomian

I don't know how Ashley can handle knowing so much about the Trump family's emoji use. Also I lost it along with Matt at the 1990 joke at the start.

Felix was on fire in this episode, he and Ashley seem to have similar posting energy.

It was the second time over a month or so they could have mined more twitter weirdness if the episode was recorded a few hours later. What's funny is that he's the guy who went to Thailand for no reason.
But Adomian was great, between the "I'm a socialist but... [something that is completely detached from socialism]" and "I haven't had a bad week since 1990 and the political events that happened in that year".

I wonder how much of an idiot you have to be to fall for these "but in their personal lives, they're so nice" articles for people that have objectively terrible politics and will fuck you up. The leader of the People's Party here had dozens of such articles, like I'm supposed to forget she's the one who backed a law that has resulted in thousands of evictions, or decided to approve without reading or discussion a resolution regarding a bank that was about to collapse because she was in vacation, or as minister of agriculture told farmers to pray for rain during a drought.
