Maggie Gyllenhall is amazing. That moment when she decided to close the deal had so many thoughts/emotions pass across her face and body, and not in an "I'm ACTING" sort of way. I am not feeling secure that Candy is going to get to make the movie at the end of the day, and I am going to be so angry if/when that falls through.

I want Lori to move to LA and Darlene to ... I don't know. Become an English professor or something. I don't really care at all about Vince and Frankie, but I am really rooting for so many other characters in this show.

Yeah, that scene was a rollercoaster in 10 seconds. I thought she was going to smack him at first.

I think this season is benefitting from all of the setting being taken care of already, and not doing "one season per decade" or whatever the rumored plan was. It's following pretty dang naturally from season 1.

Ashley switching to "Deborah" seems pretty pivotal for CC. Last season there was some undertones of trouble in the pimp community's prospects for survival, so we might be seeing some choices in the "fight or evolve" department. Along the same lines, I have a sneaking suspicion that season 3 is going to have only one James Franco.

I can't believe the peep show booths didn't have glass on the windows!

It has been a long time since I've rooted for a character the way I root for Eileen. I love every second she's on the screen.

This is how I feel as well. It honestly made me really happy when Lori won that award. And she was so proud of it too.
