I'm only two episodes in, but this is good. I'm glad there are nods to the fixation on geography.
Surprising amount of mime humor. Between this and She-Ra, apparently all Netflix rebooted animated series need a cat-themed antagonist.

I loved loved the whole season. I really dug the animation style and colour palette. The educational quality is a little dubious though!

I never saw the original, only absorbed the basic idea of Carmen San Diego. I liked it. The origin story flashbacks seemed a bit dark for a children's show and the ending caught me by surprise. I'd watch a second season.

it's pretty divorced from the source material as they wanted to make Carmen the main character but not have her be real criminal. which makes sense.
I find this boring as heck, something about the constant flash backs, but my 7 year old is obsessed.

I loved this!! All the silly puns (and comments on the silliness of puns), Carmen basically having the rogue version of my dream life, the fucking mime.
I wonder what ACME's deal is?

I couldn’t deal with the annoying Southie accents, and had to stop watching, and now I feel like I’m a bad person.

Just watching this now — anyone know if Zack and Amy are a larger part of the Carmen Sandiego mythos, beyond being the protagonists of the Saturday Morning cartoon version from the 90s (which also did a bit of the Morally Grey Carmen thing)?
