I’m excited to see if they’re really going to take the Ben/Maddie/Ryn thruple into onscreen canon. I definitely feel like they took it farther beyond subtext in S1 than I’m used to seeing, and I like that it’s not a jealousy triangle.

I am so here for this. (I'm actually having a weekly viewing of this with a friend every week, which is why I waited a night to catch it.)

The premiere has a valuable lesson, too. If there really were supernatural beings like mermaids or werewolves or vampires, it'd be an opportunity to team up with them against the real enemy: Big Oil.

I love murder mermaids and I am not ashamed.

Is there some meaning to all the new sirens being tall ripped models and Ryn being so tiny or is it just coincidence?

Well, it doesn't look like any of the recap sites are giving Siren regular coverage this season, and we are a tiny fandom, so, I don't think I'm going to keep posting weekly threads, just a finale thread when we get there.
