It sort of feels to me like they are setting up Eve to become an assassin? The discussions of paperwork, the psychopath presentation, etc all seem to be leading in that direction. Not to mention her almost pushing that guy in front of a train.

Carolyn and Konstantin watching them drive away from the other car and smiling - it was like a Mom and Dad watching their kid go off to prom with her date.

I googled the Egg Demon reference from the Ghost - it's a nice nasty bit of folklore that suits Villanelle well. The most apt description from several sites including Korean ones online that I found was here:

What is perhaps most terrifying about the egg ghost is that it has no apparent motivation; it brings death with no rhyme or reason.

Egg ghosts are thought by some scholars to be the spirits of those who died without any loved ones. Without friends or family, any of those things that make human life so meaningful, these spirits are emptied not only of discernible features but of emotion and personality. They gradually lose all traces of human identity. This utter lack of humanity makes the egg ghost the most fearsome spirit in Korean folklore, and the most deadly. There is no communicating with the egg ghost – no bargaining or begging. This bland yet terrifying spirit drains the life of any who encounter it. While other spirits may conjure a more formidable image, it is the void of the egg ghost which is most horrific of all.

Carolyn is in touch with Konstantin - so why bother with the whole 'taking a out a hit on Eve' thing?

To make Eve feel like she's in control.

I didn't know what to make of this episode! Hard to tell what Carolyn's up to, whether Eve is changing or simply revealing her true self, and how the relationship between Eve and Villanelle will develop.

Again, love the clothing and costume direction--that shot of Villanelle with her arm extended leaning against a tree in the woods in her black dress was quite the image. And I'm DYING to know what she did to the Ghost???! Or am I (grimace emoji).

And I'm DYING to know what she did to the Ghost???!

My wife tells the story how when she was a kid and lived in the country, they rescued a baby bunny. They intended to take it to the rescue shelter in the morning, so put it in the bathtub. But their cat opened the door to the bathroom, and sat there. Staring at the bunny.

In the morning, the bunny was dead without a mark on it.

I think that's what Villanelle did.

Keep watching the parallels with Hannibal. I don't think Eve will be the assassin, but maybe she'll be framed. Also, the deliberately terrible presentation made a great point with the "don't add, subtract". I wonder if we'll see any reference back to that.
