I randomly selected this for my kids to watch this afternoon and all the adults found it surprisingly charming. The movie sort of sends up the idea of Dora without being mean spirited about it and its just so good natured in general it's hard not to enjoy a fairly safe kid-friendly version of Indiana Jones.

Also, I love that the movie just embraces that Swiper is a thing. And the scene where Michael Peña tries to explain what a rave is was legit hilarious.

We loved this move-it’s my 10 year old son’s favorite movie right now. Funny, action packed, diverse casting.

We’re big Dora fans and we giggled at all the references, especially in the opening scene. The animated bit in the middle could’ve been more but it’s still unexpected and funny. A great one for the whole family.
