Yessss this one was so good. I always want to start again as soon as it finishes. One of my favourite parts of this one, and it happened a number of times, was when the players chimed in as NPCs. It really gave a sense of the crowd in the inn and the phalanx of guards at the end. Really fun stuff.

I just... can't comprehend how something can be so crude and exciting and scary and touching and hilarious all the time. Those songs! Aiiiiiii!

Will need to relisten. Thanks for posting! I didn't put up the special ep over the holidays as it took me forever to get through it and I totally lost the plot of it, but it was fun enough. I was a little worried by the description it originally went up with which didn't describe it at all and seemed to be about another, horrible episode entirely. I'm hoping that was a bad joke and not a mistaken reveal of a future episode :/

Yeah, I kind of bounced off the holiday episode, too, but apparently the description was just a weird attempt at a... January Fool's joke I guess?

Branson is just so wide open in DMing this, I really wonder how much planning ahead he does, if any. It feels like he has a overarching plot in mind, but he's really not afraid to let the PCs do whatever they want, including splitting the party pretty dramatically, as of the end of the ep. Always good to see Cheddar back in town, and now I really need to see fan art of possessed de Bonesby in his Wink Martindale-esque teal suit.

"I'm named after my last name!" got an uncomfortably-loud guffaw while listening at work.

The kids yelling about "peynus" destroyed me.

It took me *checks calendar* 16 days to realise Gerry Mentlegen is singing to the tune of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.
