Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation (1990)

The leader (Maud Adams) of a she-demon cult has her helper (Clint Howard) fetch a newswoman (Neith Hunter) for initiation, involving insects. Hand to god, that is the actual plot.

Directed and co-written by Brian Yuzna (Society, Return of the Living Dead 3).

This one of the most wtf entries in a fairly wtf franchise. It has nothing to do with christmas at all, but it is a fun body horror film.

I suspected that this one was one of those movies where they had it in the can but couldn't figure out how to market it so slapped a franchise related title and released it directly to video. Because yeah it is a WTF film and an underrated Yuzna.
