One of many stand up specials recommended in the question I asked 😊

How did this one hit, watching it after the more recent one? Seemed like a big part of Look At You was relatively-recent personal work/growth.

Yeah, watching them in order (Quarter-Life first, then Look at You) made it a little bit more like watching a person's mental health journey for me. I felt like quite a bit of the stuff she talks about it this one is referred to in Look at You.

And I was inspired to watch both by the Look at You post earlier - the previews had come up in my suggestions on Netflix and I thought they looked interesting, but having that posted here pushed me to actually watch.

I definitely should have watched them in order, it was still hilarious but some of the jokes I know she wouldn’t make now, mostly about her family, she seemed a bit too defensive of them.

I first saw this when it came out and thought it was pretty funny. Definitely watching the two shows in-order helps, if for no other reason than it gives a nice view of her development as a performer. Still funny, though.

The bit of this where she talks to her groom who isn't crying for her walk down the aisle is one of my favorite jokes. "I can bake you cookies everyday, or I could make you miserable forever. I don't give a shit either way. I just need a project, motherfucker." I love it so much.
