Notice the two writers... talented folks worked on this, even if it's a bit millennial/melodrama.

Zoey Deutch is strong in this one, although she brings too much of sweetness to Sam early on to make the whole time-loop progression from bad person to good person really work. I liked Sam from the get-go.

It also is highly, highly YA.

Still, I liked this well enough, and it's good if you go into it knowing what to expect.
