Having read the book, I knew this ep was going to be a hard watch. It was. Still, I'm enjoying this and will keep watching. Poor Miss Zott.

So sad! I haven’t read the book but had seen in an accidental read of a season review that there would be narration by Six Thirty, interesting choice but it works!

Yes, it was a sad episode.

Having now read the book, I was all "are they going there with Six-Thirty's backstory?" and yes, yes they are. I liked how they introduced Dr. Mason without having shown him before as a fellow rower-person.

Is there a single person left at Hastings who isn't the absolute worst? Add in that reporter at the funeral and I think I'd have been in jail for multiple assaults were I in her shoes.

I'm still really worried about her situation with the house and fetus.

I loved that so much of the episode revolved around events as Six Thirty would indeed have experienced them: for sure a dog would have sensed Zot was grieving, would have long known she was pregnant, would have determined the cleared out lab no longer smelt of Cal but that the tennis ball still delightfully did and would have felt shame over his role in his master’s demise.
