I caught this on a flight last month ahead of its Disney+ release, and can only apologise to the person sitting next to me for all my snort laughing.

I've since watched it another 3 times, it's a fantastically funny and charming film with a lot of heart that gets better with every rewatch.

This movie is great, and among my circle of friends I'm well known as the guy who hates musicals. So, if you're like me don't let that stop you. Strong, very well written characters, great performances (both acting and musically) and really, really funny. Four stars at least.

Watched it because I loved Jimmy Tatro from American Vandal and also Ayo Edebri from The Bear and Bottoms (nice to see her but she's kind of criminally unused here).

Watched this tonight after seeing this recommendation - mockumentary style comedies aren’t usually my thing and after the first thirty minutes I was almost ready to bail as the humour was a bit too cringe for my taste. However! It really picked up momentum and the whole finale sequence was really good fun. Well worth checking out.

I did not realize until I saw that kid singing a snippet of No Place Like London that I have been waiting all my life for a all-children's production of Sweeney Todd. Who do I have to pay to make that happen?

Didn't a bit of that get done in Jersey Girl?
