I got some excellent laughs out of this episode. Sarah Sherman's bit on Weekend Update had me in tears. Ayo and Ego had great energy together as well.
Top tp bottom one of the funniest SNL eps in recent memory.

Great episode. My biggest takeaway from it was that Ayo would be an excellent SNL cast member, though I’d selfishly rather she keep doing what she’s doing rather than join SNL. Like, I didn’t love the Mr. Fantasmic sketch, but I absolutely loved Ayo in it.

Sarah Sherman as CJ was my high point also—especially the range of faces she made as “Cat’s in the Cradle” played.

And my favorite line in the episode was Ayo’s in the People’s Court sketch—“And if I go out when it’s windy i feel my memories blowing away.”

Poor Bowen, Dave Chappelle last week and Nikki Haley this week!

Ayo was great, this was a funny episode.

SNL inviting on a TERF and a fascist? Hard pass for me. I hope Bowen quits and goes somewhere that deserves him.

Anyone else hoping for JLo and Ben to stroll into the Couples skit?

Haley was a huge disappointment for me!

Haley aside, I think this was a good episode and it benefited from a lack of A-list celebrity cameos (which are SO numerous this season, for some reason? Is it that Lorne is retiring soon and he’s calling in all his last favors? Or they don’t trust the writing staff enough to carry a show without Mick Jagger or whoever the hell showing up?)

Anyway I love Ayo and she was great.

I guess on one level it's kind of amazing that they managed to gave Haley an opportunity to go "Whoops I guess I should've acknowledged the USA's dark history with slavery" without actually requiring her to acknowledge the USA's dark history with slavery.
