Ah, I'm sorry this is the last ep this season, but I've enjoyed it so much--it's been such an up and down journey this year, both for the women's and men's teams. But they got promoted again, yay! And of course all the haters will hate even more, but I'm thrilled for the team and the community. I normally loathe the cheesy Phillie Rocky steps montages, but this was interspersed with enough other stuff that it wasn't too insufferable, and I loved seeing all the pasty white guys turning red as you watched them sitting out on a Mediterranean beach plotting changes.

I know some of the faves will have to go as they move up the leagues. But that's always painful. Mostly I'm just invested in the people of the community, and we've met so many wonderful folks this year--the Men's Club guys, the 100-year-old fan, the photographer, the spices lady, and we've got to know a bunch of other folks. I miss the sisters sitting in the cafe talking team stuff over coffee, I think we only had a couple of those this year and we mostly saw them in relation to their dad, but we got to see Millie again and a few other folks (though apparently not Sean?), and it warms my heart.

You could tell that Ryan's filming had an impact on his appearances, but Rob doesn't seem too bothered taking up slack, and his care for the community still really shines through. I 💜 this show so much.
