I couldn't watch most of it live, so I had to catch up later. Things that I am psyched about:
-Sneak peek at Hangman! He's apparently still mired in darkness, obsessed with Swerve Strickland. Good odds that he's thre Elite's "Wild Card" pick for the Owen Hart tournament, but if that's too obvious my close second and third picks are the recent free agents Ricochet and Donovan Dijak.
-We had more than one women's angle this episode! At least three, if I'm reckoning correctly. This, plus Tony Khan's recent announcement that he could send some talent to Japan to appear in Stardom matches, are good developments. Billie Starks could headline Korakuen Hall once again!
-Jeff Cobb plus Big Bill on Jericho's side is an extremely meaty man-wall for Hook and Shibata to throw themselves against.
-Ospreay is either going to lose to Swerve, or get screwed over by Don Callis somehow, and the wreckage will be massive. Strickland is clearly living rent-free in Will's head.
