Here's what long dead team member Doreen thinks of all this foolishness, but here's a quick summation: the major characters are pretty bland, while the interesting ones tend to be sidelined or killed off. Think about it: Doreen, Constance, Hatake, Agnes and now Michael. All fascinating dynamic characters and it different ways, but killed.

Meanwhile, Alan, Sarah and Julia bumble about all over the place and you just don't care. Peter and Kyle have a shred of personality, but they're in the background. Amy has turned out be a great character this season, brash and bold, yet the most sensible person. She's the only one who really wanted off the island, but now that she's in charge, it's understandable why she'd want to stay. Just hope she isn't gotten ridden of, while we're forced to set through the love triangle between Alan, Julia and Peter that become a square with Sarah and now might be a pentagon with the addition of Anne. Or is it a hexagon 'cause of Kyle? Sheesh.

But still props to the series for going through with killing the cultists, even the children. That made it plainly clear what the stakes are and that Michael wasn't just a cartoon villain. The arrival of the strike team is a bid odd, but I'm willing to see where it goes. Odd that it took Julia 30 years to find the island, especially since it was the start of pathogen. Not sure that Sarah can deliver on Amy's immortality request, but hey let's give it a go. Curious to see what's happening on this new, unofficial island.

I can't remember what Doreen's voice sounded because she wasn't around very long. So whenever I read those synopses I hear her as Pam from Archer. Way better that way.
