Slaine greets Klancain and tries to bring him to his side, as Klancain is influential among the Vers Knights loyal to the Emperor. United Earth Forces launch a two-pronged attack on the Vers moon base. The UFE attack includes a covert operation with special ops forces infiltrating the Vers moon base.

The special ops forces' mission is to assassinate Asseylum. Inaho infiltrates the moon base in an attempt to rescue Asseylum.

The scenes of Deucalion launching and in space gave me flashbacks of Thunderbirds and Macross.

I read somewhere that Klancain was Asseylum's fiancé, through an arranged marriage. So Slaine has stolen Cruhteo Jr.'s ride and his woman ...

(And the Locket of Misfortune is now back with Slaine, I don't think things bode well for Slaine.)
