Yikes - I was wondering what the next series would be; this never even crossed my mind.

It just popped up on my queue this morning. I'm sure it's going to be quite a ride. I actually know very little about any of this.

I listened to this ep because of this thread and it was really fascinating. I have a lot of weird pop culture floating around in my brain that I know is or was a Big Deal but it's often disconnected from any sense of history or sociology, so it was really cool to ground some famous movies/names in the actual time period.

This was really good. I love the idea of giving a history of this chunk of Hollywood through this lens. And it's a great podcast I hadn't heard of before. What amazing, loving work she puts into these!

I'm excited for this series. The Manson murders aren't something I know a lot about, but it is definitely interesting.

This is fantastic. Having just finished watching Aquarius, it will be good to hear about the real deal. I'm old enough to remember it being in the news but I know from listening to Karina's previous podcasts that the level of research and detail will be insanely good and it will be like living through it again. Thanks for the post Tevin.

I have just finished listening to the 12th and final episode in this series. What a journey. Karina has done a bang-up job of researching and presenting a compelling audio documentary. If anyone were to ever ask me for recommendations on learning about Manson this would be my go-to source. Now I'm off to find the Joan Didion piece she read a part of in the last episode (The White Album).
