Josh is surprised to find he's living in a romcom. Despite grand romantic gestures, elaborate dates and barely edible vegetarian meals, he still can't seem to win Arnold over.
The sex scene was very sweet. And I do enjoy when people call out the troubling nature of that Love Actually scene.

I'm very pleased to see this show up on fanfare. I just binge watched the first two seasons over a few days and it is such a charming show that manages to deal with all sorts of issues in a very kind, funny manner. And agreed about the sex scene--Please Like Me is one of the only shows that has sex scenes that don't make me cringe. They're just lovely and realistic and sweet.
