The Falcons aren't un-defeated anymore, but will the Packers, Carolina, the Patriots and more maintain their loss-less record?

Well, looks like Packers, Carolina, and the BENGALS are safe. Hoping that if any of them go down, it's the Pats.

I'm a terrible Ravens fan who has a soft spot for those stripes. It helps that Andy Dalton has been solid as my fantasy QB.

I'm pretty surprised at that Miami game; so many teams are playing consistently that it's nice to have a wild card in the bunch.

I had to miss the first half of the Saints-Falcons game but what a pleasure - what an absolute pleasure - to catch the second half and watch us break their streak. I don't have any faith in the rest of the Saints season so I'm just going to hold onto this game as my highlight of 2015.

OK. That fake punt by the Colts. What the hell?

nubs: Apparently the play wasn't actually intended to be run. The idea (according to Pagano) was to try to draw the Patriots into committing a penalty, and failing that, to take a delay-of-game penalty themselves and then just punt. Because if there's one thing you can count on when playing the Patriots, it's that they'll be undisciplined and prone to falling for goofy shenanigans. hamburger

Yeah, I just saw that weird psuedo-trick play and I don't understand what they were hoping for. Did they think the Pats would jump offsides? And then why in God's name did they snap it?? And then to have not lined up in proper formation in the first place!?!?

I gotta think there's better ways to try to sucker a team offside than to run a really weird trick play that your own team winds up taking a penalty on because it is an illegal formation.

SB Nation has a decent explainer.

And as a Pats fan, I kind of wish they had kept the fact that Jamie Collins can easily vault the offensive line to block a kick under their hat until a more crucial situation, but dayum.

Hey - are we going to do these for this season? I feel like it was discussed somewhere but I can't for the life of me figure out where that was.
