Since this is my own post, I think I have the right to threadshit right off the bat. This movie has basically nothing going for it. Ok, harpoon to the eye is kind of funny, but the effects are so bad that it is more sad. Oh, squeezing Tad's head until his eyes popped out was ok, I guess. (His name might not actually be Tad, but does it matter?)

Pretty much the only thing that I liked about the movie is that sweet, sweet Dodge van with carpeting in the back and those awesome stripes. Man, what I wouldn't do for a van like that.

It has been 20 years since I have seen this film.
I have no reason to rewatch it.
It's better than some, for sure.

Anyone seen this in 3D?

I have not, and actually I am kind of curious about it. Aside from the annoying 3d intro, I totally forgot about it. I guess it would add some *ahem* depth to the harpoon in the eye scene and maybe the eye popping, too.

Rewatching this was useful to me, if for no other reason than that it reminded me that the real appeal of this series is rooting for terrible people to get killed. I could hardly wait to see this creep Shelly get his.
